Top 5 Summer Reads That I Want to Read

Top 5 series banner

Hi everyone!

We have another post for the Top 5 Series that Mandy from Devouring Books began back in October and in which she continues now. This is a series where I will need to list five books that either I’ve read or want to read based on a given theme each week.

  • Share your top 5 books of the current topic – these can be books that you want to read, have read and loved, have read and hated, you can do it any way you want.
  • Tag the original post
  • Tag 5 people *I’m tagging everyone who would like to do this*

I wasn’t able to schedule this, but it was still Saturday on some part of the world, so it’s not late, I think lol.

This Saturday, the theme is Summer Reads. For this one, I will list the books or series that I want to read on my summer break. My list is not the common ones that we see people picking for their summer reads – stories that have beach settings, etc. What I have for today’s top five series are books and series that I really want to spend time reading in summer.

I want to reread this magical series again! I might also have a movie marathon after reading this series in summer.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series by Rick Riordan

Same with HP, I also want to reread this series. The last time I’ve read this was, I think, around 2015.

I loved the book one of this series, and I still want to continue reading the rest of the books in it.

I really want to read this, but I always don’t have the time to do so. But, hopefully, I can read the series in the summer.

I WANT TO READ THIS BADLY! But, as always, I don’t have the time to read them! *cries silently*

Here are the five series that I have on top of my summer TBR. I want to reread and also, read a new series that I always want to read since before in the next summer.

Thanks for reading my top 5 books/series for this series!

  1. So I am a die hard Harry Potter fan and I also really enjoyed the Percy Jackson series. I tried REALLY hard to get an ARC of Killing November, but couldn’t get a copy so hopefully I can get my hands on the book somehow. I’m going to have to check out the Gaslamp Gothic Series because it looks like something that would be up my alley. I do have a copy of The Girl in the Well, but haven’t read it. I do have Rin Chupeco’s upcoming 2 titles so if I like them I will probably read it too.

When is your summer vacation? Summer is pretty much ending here for me because I live in the US.

      • Summer is pretty much over here as well. I live in Upstate NY. But I thought it would be fun to do each season towards the end of it. That way people who only do books they’ve read can talk about their favorite they’ve read this season. I am also excited to check out Gaslamp Gothic series. Looks totally up my alley

  2. Yeah! I am happy to see Killing November on your list. I liked Mather’s other series, so I gave book 1 a go, even though it is out of my zone, and I LOVED IT! I am really excited to continue the series. I hope you are able to fit it in at some point.
