Bookish Tag Banner

Happy Tuesday!!! We have a bookish tag today, and I saw this one over at Never Judge a Book by Its Cover. All About Halloween Book Tag was created by CatFairy Books.

What are your favorite Halloween movies?

Silent Hill Poster.jpg

I don’t really have a favorite Halloween movie, but I like Silent Hill. I like the vibe it sends to me. I don’t even remember watching it without looking away or screaming. Then, the siren. OMG! That always creeps me out! Every time I hear that sound, I always remember those scenes where everything around you will start melting, and here come those horrible creatures!

What is your favorite Halloween book?

Goosebumps Series by R.L. Stine.jpg

Still, I don’t have a favorite YET, but I like the Goosebumps series by R.L. Stine. It is one of the books I’ve read during high school, which pulled me into reading more books aside from academic books.

What other Halloween books would you recommend?

Since I haven’t read many Halloween books this year, I would recommend one of the recent horror books I had read – Haverscroft by S.A. Harris. [My Review]

Do you own any Halloween ugly sweaters?

No. I don’t like keeping old clothes which I know I won’t use again. So, sometimes, I either give it away or donate it to those who need it.

What are some of your favorite Halloween costumes?

I haven’t tried wearing a Halloween costume, but I’d like to dress as Bellatrix Lestrange in the future.

What are you doing for Halloween this year?

Nothing that will interest you as I am only staying at home and either watching some shows/movies or reading books.

What is your favorite childhood Halloween memory?

Oh, for this one, I remembered that it was Halloween and there was a house being built near us. Children and some adults kind of fear it because, whenever they light some candles on the stairs, you’ll see a shadow like a horse head moving as if it was nodding, and after a few minutes, the candle will die. Then they will light it up again, and the same thing will happen. The mystery behind was that there was nothing around or in front that will do that moving horse head shadow. And in front of it was a big wall, so it was impossible to create a shadow like that.
